It doesn’t take much for one to get a sense of being in the cosmos looking at this artwork. The pine leaves seem to be floating in space, the multiple layers of leaves create a swirling effect which is visually stunning.
The vista creates a transcendent temperament – older leaves bring about new ones; ancestors give rise to new generations.
You may also pick up the gleam of light from the bottom right corner of the painting – where does it come from? Is that from earth or some unknown planets? That’s entirely up to the audience imagination, but the painting seems to be whispering the story of experiencing tranquility and eternity in the universe.
