This work depicts the scenery of the mountains and river under the moonlight, highlighting the mystical feeling and tranquillity of nature: the leaves are like a layer of fluorescent tulle under the moonlight, and the river is flowing down like sparkling mercury through the mountains. This beautiful scenery is so touching and hypnotizing, almost like a déjà vu or a dreamy illusion.
Feng has studied colour splashing and meticulous brushwork for many years, and has created his own unique ink language. He advocates that artistic creation should be a combination of the East and the West. The biggest difference between Feng's splash ink and his predecessors is his extraordinary ability to control, so that “the texture has the natural beauty of the object."
