This work uses mahjong tiles in the shape of a bridge to metaphorically represent Anton POON's keen interest in cross-cultural connections. Mahjong is a traditional Chinese recreational activity that has been passed down to this day and is still a hobby for many Chinese, and the Chinese emigrants have brought this traditional game to the world. This activity, which requires four people to sit around a table, builds bridges of opportunity for individuals from different regions to communicate, and this work accurately conveys this.
