Sentiments under the Moon
US$10,200.00Price
The scene in this painting is rather deserted with a feeling of sorrow lingering around. The moon and flowers are both white, and the night sky and leaves are in the same shade of blue, echoing these subjects are a unity, or that they are all carriers of our emotions. The two main colours white and blue have a sentimental undertone in this composition. There is a grey railing between the flowers and the sky, which gives people a sense of repressed and constrained mood. Yet at the same time, the moon is bright and wholesome in the centre, and it symbolises that the artist still maintains his hope, the eagerness for light, and a perseverance that shall never withered.
